François Bucher is an artist from Cali, Colombia, and lives and works in Berlin. His work has been exhibited internationally in group and solo shows including: Location One, New York; Empire/State, artists engaging globalization, Whitney Museum Independent Study Program exhibition, 2002; Speaking Truths, Intermedia Arts, Minneapolis; Raw, Smack Mellon Studios; and Tate Britain, London. His video work has shown at the Oberhausen Film Festival; the Indonesian Independent Film-Video Festival; Impakt Festival, the Netherlands; the Kassel Documentary Film Festival; and the Cinema Paradise Festival in Honolulu.
